Job summary

Ashburton College in the South Island seeks a passionate teacher for Years 7–15 / wharekura, commencing at the start of Term 1 2027 (28 January 2027). Knowledge of NCEA is essential and outdoor education is an advantage. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to a dynamic, student centred curriculum.

The successful applicant will collaborate with staff to develop cross-curricular programmes, engage diverse learners and support our PB4L and restorative practices philosophy.

We are seeking a passionate and future focused teacher to join our staff. The successful applicant will have the skill and enthusiasm to deliver a curriculum that develops 21st Century capabilities with learners. They will be able to collaborate with other teachers in the development of cross-curricular programmes of learning that engage diverse learners.
