Job summary

Inspired Kindergartens in the Bay of Plenty is seeking an experienced and qualified part-time teacher to join our team at Wairakei Kindergarten. You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that cater to diverse tamariki and work with a supportive teaching team.

Knowledge of Te Whāriki and the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum is essential. This fixed-term 0.6 FTE role runs from January to December 2027, offering collaborative, inclusive practice and professional learning

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with NZ registration.
• Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki.
• Ability to plan engaging learning experiences for diverse tamariki.

About the role

We're seeking an experienced and qualified part-time teacher to join our team at Wairakei Kindergarten. As a key member of our teaching team, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our children.

You will have a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, and be able to plan and implement engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. You'll work collaboratively with our experienced teachers and support staff to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to thrive.

We are looking for someone who shares our values of providing exceptional care and education to our tamariki, and is committed to working in a team environment. If you're passionate about early childhood education and have a strong understanding of Te Whāriki, we'd love to hear from you!

The position is for a0.6 fixed term for 1 year.
