Job summary

St Patrick's School (Greymouth) on the West Coast seeks a motivated Certificated teacher to join our team. The role is full-time and fixed-term for roll growth, with focus on Years 1–8 in a Catholic education setting.

You will build strong relationships with students, whanau and staff, deliver engaging, integrated learning across the curriculum, and bring energy, enthusiasm, and high-quality classroom management to our school community.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher with appropriate teaching certificate.
• Experience teaching Years 1-8 (primary/intermediate) is preferred.
• Strong relationships with students, whanau, colleagues and the wider community.

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will value the importance of building strong relationships with students, whanau, colleagues and the wider community.

The ideal applicant will be passionate about supporting tamariki and committed to providing engaging, integrated learning opportunities across the curriculum. They will demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, bring high levels of energy and enthusiasm to their teaching and contribute positively to the life of our school.

The successful applicant will be committed to Catholic education and the values of our school. A willingness and ability to take part in Religious Instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the school is a condition of appointment.
