Job summary
English 1 is recruiting English teachers for full-time roles in China. We welcome recent graduates, career changers and experienced ESL instructors to join our network of schools delivering dynamic, language-focused education to young learners aged 3-16.
You'll receive a competitive salary with a performance bonus after six months, paid leave, international health insurance, visa sponsorship and sponsored hotel stays during onboarding, plus access to training materials and distance learning
Qualifications
- Interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, parents and colleagues.
- Ability to manage expectations and keep families informed.
- Clear and engaging presentation of language concepts.
- Experience coaching and training learners step by step.
- Analytical skills for tracking progress and adapting lessons.
Responsibilities
- Teach English to young learners aged 3-16 in interactive classrooms.
- Deliver instruction using English 1's curriculum and digital tools.
- Build literacy, speaking, listening and confidence in English.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Coach, motivate and present language concepts clearly.
