Job summary

Recreation Aotearoa | Te Whai Oranga seeks a Swim Squad Head Coach to lead a growing squad, delivering coaching roughly 15 hours per week with a further 5 hours for planning.

You will develop swimmer technique, fitness and race performance, manage squad pathways and prepare swimmers for competition, mentor assistant coaches, and build strong relationships with swimmers, families and club stakeholders within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coaching competitive swimming squads.
• Strong planning, leadership, and communication skills.
• Passion for athlete development and creating a positive team culture.
• Relevant coaching qualification (or currently working towards one).
