  • Creating positive change in the lives of the world's most vulnerable children.
  • Driving appeal campaigns and upsell journeys that maximise donor impact.
  • Using data, automation, and innovation to drive cost-effective growth.
  • Crafting powerful, donor‑centred stories that inspire generosity and move people to action.

As Supporter Acquisition Manager, you’ll design and manage conversion journeys that turn warm leads into new, returning, or higher‑value donors. You’ll be responsible for appeal campaign performance, optimising onboarding experiences, and working with affiliate partners. You’ll also blend fundraising principles, emotional storytelling, and donor psychology to create moments that motivate action, from first engagement through to conversion. By using insights, data, and automation, you’ll personalise experiences, optimise journeys, and ensure every message delivers clarity, empathy, and purpose. By collaborating closely with creative, marketing, engagement, and data teams, you’ll bring to life compelling multi‑channel journeys that convert, retain, and uplift supporters, helping World Vision reach even more vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mid‑to‑lower funnel conversion journeys for warm leads.
  • Optimise onboarding and early retention journeys to reduce drop‑off.
  • Manage appeal campaign conversions, maximising donations and supporter experience.
  • Enhance digital sign‑up flows, landing pages, and multi‑channel journeys.
  • Oversee affiliate partnerships and co‑design effective acquisition campaigns.
  • Run structured A/B tests, using data and attribution analytics to improve outcomes.
  • Ensure CRM, CDP, and automation data flows support effective targeting and personalisation.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless leads handoffs into conversion journeys.

This is your opportunity to join a committed and collaborative team at World Vision New Zealand, working together to create meaningful change for children. Every day, your skills will contribute to projects that help families in the world’s toughest places build safer and brighter futures. • 3–5 years’ experience with CRM, CDP, and automation platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Segment, Customer.io).
  • Experience in fundraising conversion, performance marketing, or lead nurturing.
  • Proven success in conversion strategy, appeal campaign delivery, and early retention.
  • Skilled in designing omnichannel conversion journeys (email, SMS, WhatsApp, tele, DM, paid media, website).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience running structured testing.
  • Ability to brief and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
