About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

You will report to the Team Coach and join our Mangere Bridge Housing and Recovery, Sub‑Acute and Day teams. You will be working with a team of RHP’s, all with a common purpose of supporting people experiencing mental distress. Our service is 6 brick and tile 2‑bedroom flats with a lovely courtyard garden which provides flowers and vegetables to supplement cooking.

This is a permanent, part-time position. You will be working Saturday & Sunday, 3 pm – 11:30 pm, based in Mangere Bridge, Auckland.

Responsibilities include:
  • Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life.
  • Provide medication support for our people.
You | Mōu

We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths‑focused way.

You will also have:
  • Current full New Zealand driver’s licence
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in Mental Health or similar.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
