Job summary

Anker Innovations ANZ in New Zealand is recruiting for a demand and supply planning specialist. You will design the planning infrastructure from the ground up, building forecasts, inventory controls, and launch plans.

You will work cross-functionally with Australia and Shenzhen HQ to align forecasts with business goals. You will develop forecasts, monitor inventory, support launches, and drive improvements in planning tools and processes to ensure timely supply and optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or replenishment.
• Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, retail, or distribution environments.
• Strong Excel capability—building and maintaining planning tools and reports.
• Understanding of retail channels, promotional cycles, and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks early.
• Early English fluency required; Mandarin proficiency preferred for HQ coordination.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand forecasts across key product categories and channels.
• Track sell-in, sell-out, stock on hand, and inventory movement across NZ channels.
• Support new product launch planning, including launch forecasts and initial stock requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and channel teams on promotional forecasts and stock readiness.
• Monitor inventory risks: overstock, slow-moving stock, EOL, shortages.
• Improve visibility across stock flow, allocation, inbound supply, and replenishment.
• Prepare planning reports and insights to support business decisions.
• Partner with internal teams, distributors, and retail stakeholders to resolve supply issues.
• Continuously improve planning tools and forecasting accuracy.
