Job description

At BDO Takapuna, we’re more than a professional services firm – we’re a close-knit whānau. As a BAS intern, you’ll join a team that’s passionate about helping businesses grow, while supporting your own development from day one.

Located in the heart of Takapuna, you’ll experience a friendly, collaborative environment where relationships and individuality are truly valued. With mentoring, coaching, and on-the-job learning, we’ll support you to build technical skills and professional confidence throughout your internship.

Be backed to grow – right from the start

Our 10-week summer internship (November 2026 – February 2027) begins with a dedicated induction week based in our Auckland CBD office, followed by hands-on experience within our Business Advisory team, based in our Takapuna Office.

Be part of a supportive BDO whānau

From day one, you’ll be supported with a mix of digital learning, on-the-job experience, and coaching and mentoring. We’re committed to giving our interns the tools, flexibility, and trust they need to grow with confidence.

At BDO, we bring together the best of both worlds – a strong local presence combined with national and global connections. This means you can build your career in an environment that values both collaboration and individuality.

Be yourself

We’re committed to creating an inclusive environment where you feel comfortable being your authentic self. This internship is your chance to explore your interests, build meaningful relationships, and discover what a future in Business Advisory could look like.

This is an awesome opportunity to have an amazing summer, surrounded by truly great people and in a culture that prioritises experiences, learning, relationships and its people.

We’d love to learn more about you! So, tell us why you want to BE YOUR BEST AT BDO in 2026.
