Job summary

The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in Wellington seeks a Senior Advisor Reporting and Assurance to lead high-quality performance reporting and risk-based assurance across the CME Group. You will design reporting frameworks, turn complex regulatory data into clear insights, and deliver risk-based assurance reviews that assess effectiveness and consistency of CME's systems.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience delivering high-quality performance, governance or regulatory reporting.
• Experience designing and delivering risk-based assurance reviews.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and gaps.
• Excellent written communication turning complex data into insights.
• Experience developing or improving reporting frameworks and measures.
• Ability to assess evidence against legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance reporting and risk-based assurance for CME Group.
• Design and maintain reporting frameworks and measures.
• Deliver assurance reviews evaluating CME regulatory systems.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Support teams to implement practical improvements and strengthen accountability.
