Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Limited is seeking a Product Governance Manager to shape and strengthen governance across our product suite. You will partner with senior leaders and product teams to provide governance oversight, challenge, and practical guidance to support compliant, customer-centric decisions.

The role is hybrid with WFH options, located in Auckland. You will drive governance forums, prepare committee papers, and report on governance performance to executives, while facilitating continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit, legal or product-related roles.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, controls and oversight.
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance oversight, review and challenge on product changes and reviews.
• Manage governance forums, approval processes and key registers.
• Prepare high-quality committee papers, reporting and governance packs.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide practical governance advice and guidance.
• Facilitate governance meetings and ensure actions are delivered.
• Monitor governance performance and report insights to senior leaders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance and customer outcomes.
