Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki seeks NZ Registered Dietitians to provide professional, strategic and operational leadership for the Dietitian service, joining the Allied Health leadership team across two sites: New Plymouth Base Hospital and Hawera Hospital.

You will shape new models of care from birth onwards, ensure sound service management, and collaborate on career frameworks while guiding Dietitians across the district to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Dietitian with operational/leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.
• Experience shaping models of care and service delivery.
• Ability to manage budgets, recruitment and waitlists.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership for the Dietitian service.
• Develop new models of care aligned with clinical best practice.
• Oversee operational management including budgets and recruitment.
