Job summary

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is seeking a Principal Information Advisor (Information Security) to lead information security strategy within the IPS Group. This fixed-term opportunity through to June 2027 will be based in Wellington, with flexibility for Auckland or Christchurch for the right candidate.

You’ll advise senior leaders, shape information governance, and build strong relationships to drive transformation while ensuring information is used responsibly and in the public

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience advising senior leaders and guiding teams.
