Job summary

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi invites applications for the Enterprise Risk Director role. The successful candidate will position enterprise risk at the centre of NZTA’s major transport, investment and organisational decisions and report to the Group General Counsel.

• Extensive experience leading enterprise risk in a large, complex environment.
• Proven track record lifting organisational maturity towards proactive, insight-led risk management.
• Demonstrated credibility with chief executives, ELT, boards and audit/risk committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop NZTA’s enterprise risk function and team.
• Provide independent, forward-looking risk insight to the CEO, ELT, Audit and Risk Committee and Board.
• Embed risk-informed thinking in strategic, investment and operational decisions and strengthen resilience.
