Ministry of Social Development in Wellington is seeking a Strategic Design Lead to shape MSD's Delivery Operating Model and translate strategy into practical design. You will lead a small specialist team and work across programmes and subject matter experts to align service, workforce, process and technology decisions.

You will champion governance, manage trade-offs, and embed Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti into how we work, helping deliver a smarter, simpler welfare system for New Zealand.

Qualificações

• Experience leading service design, business design or operating model design in large transformations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver outcomes through influence.
• Experience establishing frameworks and standards to support consistent delivery.
• Strong facilitation skills to build alignment and guide governance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, risks and trade-offs.
• Knowledge of Te Ao Maori, Te Reo Maori and Te Tiriti integration.
