Job summary
Manatū Hauora is seeking a Principal Advisor Communications and Engagement to lead strategic communications and engagement initiatives across health priorities. You will provide expert advice to senior leaders and Ministers, shaping decisions and managing risk.
You will drive complex projects, mentor others, and build influential relationships with government partners and the health sector to improve healthcare and ensure an inclusive, high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience delivering strategic communications and engagement in complex environments.
- Exceptional writing skills, turning complex issues into clear messages.
- Trusted judgement and political savvy, with experience advising senior leaders and Ministers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement across government and the sector.
- Advanced expertise across key communications disciplines: media, digital, internal or Ministerial communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic communications and engagement initiatives supporting Ministry priorities.
