Job summary

The Warehouse Wanaka is seeking a dedicated Stockroom Team Member to join our Wanaka store. You will help prepare stock for display, keep shelves looking brilliant, and support a fast-paced retail team with enthusiasm.

Ideal candidates have proven retail experience, an interest in stockroom coordination, and the stamina to stay on their feet and lift heavy items as needed. Forklift license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environments and customer service.
• Experience coordinating stockroom operations and replenishment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Process stock receipts and ensure correct shelving and labeling.
• Keep stockroom tidy and organized for efficient picking and locating items.
• Assist with recycling and waste management in the back of house.
• Support team with daily store operations to enhance customer service.

Te kaupapa o te tūranga – The purpose of the role

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday7:00am - 3:30pm

In this role - you’re the one who makes it all happen. The stock is ready to sell and customers are ready to be excited because you’ve made our shelves look brilliant – brimming with the things people love and need.

In this role, you will ensure all stock received is processed correctly within the appropriate guidelines. You will also ensure the stockroom area is tidy and maintained, along with processing recycling and other waste correctly. You understand the importance of team dynamics, are focused,and keen to build positive working relationships with your team.

Ideally you will have:

• Provenexperience in retail
• Experience and Interest in stockroom coordination
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Capable of undertaking heavy lifting, climbing ladders and being on your feet for long periods of time
• Forklift license (preferred but not required)
