Job summary

DuluxGroup is seeking a hands-on spray equipment technician based primarily at the Onehunga service centre in Auckland, NZ. You will diagnose faults, repair commercial spray gear, and support training for professional painters and trade customers across the Northern Region.

You will combine workshop repairs with field support, demonstrations, and equipment recommendations, building strong relationships with our store network and customer base.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose faults and repair mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing or repairing equipment or tools.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
• Strong organisational and self-management skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair commercial spray equipment.
• Complete warranty repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Test equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Deliver product demonstrations and customer training sessions.
• Support stores and customers with equipment advice and technical expertise.
• Identify equipment upgrade opportunities and provide product recommendations.
