Job summary

Wellington Girls' College is seeking an energetic Sports Coordinator to manage and support its extensive school sport programme. The role is 40 hours per week, term time only, reporting to the Director of Sport, with some weekend/evening commitments for games and events.

Starting mid October or negotiable, remuneration follows the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement. This is a permanent appointment based in Wellington.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and multi-task.
• Weekend and evening work to attend games, events or meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school sport programmes and activities.
• Support the Director of Sport and the Sports Department to run events and fixtures.
