Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora in Nelson is seeking a Speech Language Therapist to join the Nelson Community Rehabilitation Team on a permanent part-time basis. About the Team/Service/ Location

The Nelson Tasman Community Rehabilitation Team is an adultspecialist neurological rehabilitation service.

The team work closely with clients, whānau, and healthcareproviders to improve recovery outcomes and independence in the community.

About you

As a clinician in the Community Rehab Team, you will:

  • Be a registered SpeechTherapist with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience
  • Have experience of workingwith other professions and MDT processes as well as service deliverymonitoring
  • Have excellentinterpersonal skills, a can-do attitude with a strong quality focus
  • Be a strong team memberwho is enthusiastic and innovative
  • Have experience in projects / initiativeswhich give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and theapplication of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularlyas they apply in healthcare settings.

The successful candidate must be eligibleto work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
