Job summary

Fulton Hogan Timaru contracting team is seeking an Operator to operate plant and equipment across civil and roading works, supporting safe, high-quality delivery for our customers. This hands-on role requires practical, reliable individuals who are keen to grow their skills and work well with a team.

You'll perform routine machinery checks, maintain maintenance records, and assist the Supervisor with day-to-day site delivery.

Qualifications

• A Full Class 2 licence is required.
• Class 4 licence preferred and WTR endorsements.
• Experience in civil, roading, or plant operation.
• Flexible, team-focused approach and willingness to take on a range of daily tasks.
• Proactive attitude to health and safety.
• Willingness to learn and upskill.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently across civil and roading works.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor and support day-to-day site delivery.
• Carry out general labouring duties as required.
