Job summary

Head Medical invites applications for a Specialist Intensivist to join the Critical Care Department in Whangarei, Northland. Qualifications

• Candidates must have or be eligible for MCNZ registration in Intensive Care Medicine.
• FCICM or equivalent qualification preferred; advanced trainees considered.
• Willing to work in a busy, 24/7 ICU with teaching responsibilities and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist intensive care services across a nine-bed ICU.
• Participate in the ICU on-call roster and patient management.
• Contribute to teaching and training of residents and registrars.
• Support flight retrieval service in collaboration with regional partners.
