Radiology Tasmania in Hobart is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team. The role can be part-time or full-time, with relocation/retention packages and visa sponsorship for ASAR accredited overseas candidates.

You will perform high-quality ultrasound imaging across our clinics, build relationships with referrers and patients, and contribute to a supportive safety-conscious environment. Our team benefits from modern equipment and strong professional development opportunities.

About to Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at our Hobart clinics. The role is available on either a part-time or full-time basis depending on candidate preference.

Relocation & retention packages worth up to $50,000 are available to candidates relocating from interstate. For ASAR accredited overseas candidates we can also offer visa sponsorship opportunities for this position.

Our clinics are filled with high performing teams and supported with up-to-date equipment within a modern clinical setting, the Radiographer will be responsible for the high-quality imaging our community trusts us to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
• Responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service provisions.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework.
• Provide feedback to other members of the clinic and operational teams to help identify training and development needs.
• Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and /or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.

Selection Criteria

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound
• Skilled across a broad range of scanning competences
• Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR as well as a completion of an ASAR accredited course.
• Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA, or equivalent provider.
• A value driven attitude and work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to thrive in our team-oriented environment.
