Job summary

Oranga Tamariki-Ministry for Children in Tokoroa seeks a qualified, registered social worker to join our team. You will meet with tamariki, rangatahi and whānau, assess needs, formulate intensive intervention plans, and participate in hui-ā-whānau and family group conferences.

You will collaborate with agencies, iwi and communities to improve outcomes. A SWRB registration, tikanga Māori knowledge, a clean driver’s licence, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • SWRB registration or eligible to register with SWRB.
  • Social work qualification recognised by the SWRB.
  • Full, clean driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities
