About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled social workerwho would like to join our multi-disciplinary inpatient mental health team. Asa Social Worker, you will provide holistic inpatient care from acute through torehabilitation.
This is a permanent full-time role working 80 hours perfortnight, Monday to Friday between 8.00AM to 4.30PM (1.0 FTE).

About you
As a Social Worker, you need to be registered with the NZSocialWorkers Registration Board (provisional/full). Ideally you will haveexperience working as part of a multi disciplinary team in a health setting,and will bring an understanding of the social determinants of health, as wellas the impact on health and social needs.
You must be able to work in a collaborative way deliveringpatient-centred practice from a strengths perspective. You will have a goodunderstanding of bi-cultural social work practice, in addition toknowledge/experience with violence intervention and prevention.
To be successful you will have outstanding interpersonal andcommunication skills and lots of energy and enthusiasm. You will also beinnovative, proactive, flexible, and creative with a positive approach to allsituations, including problem solving. Your ability to think on your feet andwork under pressure, with a solution focused approach, will beadvantageous.
