About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Social Worker with previous mental health experience to join the Regional Forensic Psychiatry Team.

The position requires the following:

  • Experienced in participating and facilitating groups. It includes understanding and ensuring confidentiality is being respected, group boundaries and members are protected whenever possible from situations that are highly triggering or threatening.
  • Experienced in collaboratively developing a transition plan and supporting clients transition to community. able to help and facilitate access to accommodation with appropriate resources (ex: WINZ) in working with community-based support.
  • Strong team player. To demonstrate flexibility and to participate in a variety of forensic settings.
  • Participate in cross service cover within the Mason Clinic.

There is active support for professional development through supervision, and on-going training and encouragement to be a member of the ANZASW as a Registered Social Worker.

If you have a recognised social work degree, a full drivers licence and would enjoy working for an expanding service, we look forward to hearing from you.
