Job summary

Franklin Smith is seeking multiple experienced Sheet Metal Workers in New Zealand who bring a positive attitude and solid references. You will mark out, shape, form and join sheet metal and other materials on commercial or civil projects.

The role is permanent, with a minimum 30 hours per week, and an hourly wage between $28.00 and $35.00. Occasionally you may travel to other regions for projects, with relocation costs covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• NZ citizen or resident
• At least 3 years full-time sheet metal experience on commercial or civil projects
• Pass police check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Mark out, shape, form and join sheet metal and other materials.
• Create construction or installation diagrams from plans.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
• Assemble products or production equipment.
• Plan layout of construction, installation or repairs.
• Ensure all activities comply with Franklin Smith policies and legislation.
