Job summary

The Warehouse Group is hiring a Service Desk Team Member at The Warehouse, Royal Oak. This full-time role is based in-store, with Sunday to Thursday hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm. You will answer customer inquiries, advise on returns and transfers, and help keep checkout operations smooth.

You’ll also assist in security and loss prevention and support team members as needed. Ideal candidates bring customer-facing experience and a calm, proactive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a customer facing role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to undertake heavy lifting, climbing ladders and being on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries and provide advice on processing returns, exchanges, refunds and transfers.
• Support the Loss Prevention team with security measures and store safety.
• Help supervise and support the Checkout area to ensure smooth transactions.

• Sunday to Thursday: 8:30am -4:00pm

This exciting and dynamic role is a perfect fit for someone who understands the value of exceptional customer service. As a Customer Service Team Member, you’ll be stationed at our in-store service desk, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service possible.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering customer inquiries and providing advice to processing returns, exchanges, refunds, and transfers. You’ll also support our Loss Prevention team by assisting with security measures and ensuring the safety of our store. Also, you’ll be able to help supervise and support the Checkout area as needed, making sure that all transactions run smoothly and efficiently.
