Oranga Tamariki in South Auckland (Mangere site) seeks a Supervisor/Senior Practitioner/Social Worker to lead and supervise a team of social workers across the region. You will engage with Iwi and other government and non-government partners to support tamariki and whanau, and travel as required.

You will identify development needs, oversee workflow and ensure decisions reflect our Practice Framework, Principles and Standards, while partnering with peers and leadership across the region.

Formación

• Full registration with SWRB as a social worker.
• SWRB-recognised social worker qualification.
• Full, clean, valid driver’s licence.
• Experience leading teams and managing workloads.
• Experience in complex, politically sensitive environments.
• Ability to work with Iwi and partners across sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise a team of social workers across regions.
• Support and supervise projects in collaboration with Iwi and agencies.
• Travel around the region as required and maintain relationships.
• Identify development needs and grow capability and practice depth.
• Manage workflow and ensure timely, quality decisions.
• Ensure professional practice aligns with the Practice Framework.
