Job summary

Extrastaff is seeking Aluminum Fabricators to support nationwide projects across New Zealand. You will fabricate and install aluminum components, read drawings, and travel between sites as required. Opportunity to work on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

2 years’ aluminum fabrication experience preferred; NZQA-recognised trade preferred. PPE and tools provided where required, and roles are full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in aluminum fabrication or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Skilled in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum.
• Trade qualification or NZQA-recognised experience preferred.
• Willing to travel between sites across NZ and relocate if required.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Job Description: Extrastaff, a Labour Hire Company, is hiring full-time Aluminum Fabricators to support project work throughout New Zealand. You will work on various construction and fabrication sites, with site location based on project demand. This role is ideal for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminum components and structures


• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints


• Operate hand and power tools relevant to aluminum fabrication


• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
