Job summary

RGH Global is recruiting international Registered Nurses for permanent community roles in Mental Health & Addictions in Auckland Region, New Zealand. The role focuses on building therapeutic relationships, assessments, and coordinated care across MDTs.

Relocation support is available for international candidates, with a commitment to equity for Māori, Pacific, and diverse populations. Full NZ drivers licence is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with mental health scope and current APC.
• Full NZ drivers licence.
• PG Cert in Health Sciences (MH&A) or enrolled; 1+ year post-reg experience.
• Commitment to equity for Māori, Pacific, and diverse populations.
• Strong MDT collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with tangata whaiora and whaanau.
• Conduct MH&A assessments, risk evaluations, and care planning.
• Deliver interventions (e.g., MI, CBT, DBT, Sensory Modulation).
• Coordinate care across MDT, community, and intersectoral services.
• Promote recovery, health equity, and cultural safety (Te Tiriti principles).
