Our client seeks a highly analytical and experienced Senior Real Estate Market Analyst to join their growing team based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role focuses on in-depth market research, forecasting, and delivering data-driven insights to support investment, development, and leasing decisions for the region and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate market analysis, research, or a similar analytical role.
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and market forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and market research databases (e.g., Lightstone, Stats SA, industry-specific platforms).
• Strong understanding of real estate principles, market dynamics, and investment drivers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
• Knowledge of the Eastern Cape property market is highly preferred.
• Experience with GIS software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive research on various real estate sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
• Analyze market data, including absorption rates, vacancy rates, rental rates, sales comparables, and demographic trends.
• Develop sophisticated market forecasts and identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
• Prepare detailed market analysis reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Monitor economic indicators and policy changes that may impact the real estate market.
• Collaborate closely with investment, development, and leasing teams to provide market insights.
• Maintain and update market databases and information sources.
• Conduct site visits and on-the-ground research as required to validate data and gain local insights in Queenstown and surrounding areas.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical methodologies.
