Job summary

The Theta team in Auckland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑performing teams delivering business application projects in line with Theta’s delivery standards. The role blends hands‑on management with enabling customers to be business-ready for new solutions and process changes.

You’ll work with diverse customers and cross‑functional teams, driving momentum and value, while navigating complex ERP/CRM transformations and organisational change in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex ERP or CRM projects from start to finish.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects across different customers and industries.
• Focus on delivering business value and customer outcomes.
• Skilled in planning, estimation, risk, and issue management.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field.
• Certified in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, PMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex ERP and CRM transformation projects for customers across industries.
• Provide strategic delivery leadership ensuring governance, decision-making and project controls.
• Act as trusted adviser to customers and senior stakeholders through change decisions.
• Deliver agreed business and technology outcomes within scope, time, and budget.
• Provide clear, outcome-focused updates on progress, risks, issues and decisions.
• Manage daily project operations, schedules, risks, issues and changes.
• Review Statements of Work and proposals.

What You Will Do

• Lead large, complex ERP and CRM transformation projects for customers across a variety of industries.
• Provide strategic delivery leadership, ensuring governance, decision-making, and project controls align with customer outcomes and Theta delivery standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and senior stakeholders, helping them navigate project, organizational, and business change decisions.
• Deliver agreed business and technology outcomes for assigned projects within approved scope, timeframes and budget.
• Ensure stakeholders receive clear, outcome-focused updates on progress, risks, issues, and key decisions
• Manage daily project operations, schedules, risks, issues, and changes
• Assign project resources, budgets, and profitability and keep documentation up to date
• Review Statements of Work and proposals

Skills and Experience

• Experience managing complex ERP or CRM projects from start to finish
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects across different customers and industries
• Focus on delivering business value and customer outcomes
• Skilled in planning, estimation, risk, and issue management
• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field
• Certified in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, PMP)
• Suitable for someone with 5+ years project management experience
• Proficient with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Boards, MS Project)
