Responsibilities

• Partner with programme leaders and technical experts to translate complex projects into clear, engaging communications
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and community partners
• Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies and plans aligned to programme milestones
• Create high-quality content across channels – including media, digital, social, and video
• Lead programme storytelling, identifying opportunities to highlight people, partnerships, and outcomes
• Provide trusted advice to stakeholders and ensure communications are aligned and on brand
• Support reputation management through proactive media engagement and compelling narratives
• A digital native with strong content skills and confidence creating for different platforms and audiences
• Strong communication skills, with confidence influencing at senior levels
• Exceptional writing and storytelling capability across a range of formats and channels
• Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, delivery-focused experience
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced, matrix environment
• Ideally experience working with technical or infrastructure-focused teams, with the ability to simplify and present complex information engagingly
