Job summary

CMP Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support a growing Wellington-based water infrastructure team. You will provide technical leadership on complex water treatment projects and drive design delivery with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring at least 6 years in water/wastewater systems, strong project management and client engagement skills, and a passion for continuous improvement and innovative solutions. Hybrid working arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in water, wastewater or recycled water, infrastructure design, construction or operation.
  • Experience with water and wastewater process modelling is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and client engagement skills.

  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
  • Lead technical analysis, design development, and process optimisation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Archway Recruitment has partnered with CMP New Zealand to appoint a Senior Process Engineer to support the growth of their Wellington-based water infrastructure team.

CMP Consulting Group is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in water, wastewater and infrastructure projects across New Zealand and Australia. Backed by the ASX-listed Vysarn Group, CMP offers the opportunity to work on high-profile water infrastructure projects across the Tasman.

Senior Process Engineer

As they continue growing their New Zealand team, CMP are seeking to employ a Senior Process Engineer who is passionate about technical excellence, developing innovative solutions and making a lasting impact on the New Zealand water sector.

In this role, you will utilise your process engineering expertise and water sector experience, providing technical leadership and delivery. Performing a critical role in providing engineering excellence and developing effective client relationships whilst delivering the successful design and delivery of complex water treatment projects.
