Job summary

Tūhoe Te Uru Taumatua is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee its growing network of medical centres across the Tūhoe rohe. You will provide leadership, systems and oversight to ensure clinics operate efficiently and deliver excellent patient experiences.

This role suits someone who can balance strategic thinking with practical execution, thrives in change, and can develop teams across multiple sites with dedicated Practice Assistants.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in health service or clinic management.
• Strong knowledge of primary healthcare operations and compliance.
• Experience overseeing multiple clinic sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance of all Tūhoe Medical Centre sites.
• Develop clinic teams to deliver high standards of service.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor quality systems, risk, and health and safety.
• Manage budgets, resources and operational planning.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
• Build relationships with clinicians, kaimahi, whānau and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and efficiency.
• Position clinics for future health system development.
