Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks a Senior Project Manager in Queenstown to lead Three Waters infrastructure delivery across Central Otago. You’ll own end-to-end project delivery from pump stations to treatment plants, with multi-site oversight and strong client liaison.

You’ll drive programme, budget, and stakeholder coordination in a client-facing consultancy, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes in a dynamic regional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a PM Consultant in New Zealand is essential.
• Local Central Otago or Queenstown experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Experience managing work in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong client management skills and the confidence to run projects with autonomy.
• A proactive, commercially-minded approach to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Three Waters infrastructure works (pump stations, water/wastewater treatment, stormwater) both new build and refurbishment/maintenance scale.
• Work across multiple sites and packages throughout the local region.
• Act as the key client contact, managing relationships and expectations throughout each project.
• Oversee design teams, resource consents, and procurement of contract packages.
• Manage project programme, budget, and any co-funding arrangements.
• Coordinate design, construction, and delivery teams to keep projects on time and on budget.
