Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Hawke's Bay seeks an experienced Operational Manager to provide day-to-day leadership across oncology services, including medical oncology, clinical haematology, radiation oncology and palliative care. You will work with clinical leaders to ensure safe, high-quality care and efficient patient flow.

You will lead service planning, improvement initiatives, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to support growing demand and achieve fast, equitable cancer treatment

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in healthcare or complex service environments.
• Strong leadership to motivate and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage service performance, planning, and resource coordination.
• Understanding of patient flow and cancer service delivery targets.
• Proven use of data and performance indicators to drive improvements.
