Job summary

Department of Conservation seeks a senior Occupational Health leader to shape health, wellbeing and resilience across our workforce. You will provide strategic advice, lead health monitoring and wellbeing initiatives, and partner with leaders, ACC and People & Culture to drive positive outcomes.

You’ll champion injury management, develop organisational capability, and travel as required to support DOC sites nationwide. A current APC and NZ recognition are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in occupational health, workplace health advisory or related field.
• Current APC as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or other recognised Health Practitioner.
• Experience with health monitoring, surveillance and risk management programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve DOC's occupational health programmes and initiatives.
• Provide expert advice on occupational health risks and workplace exposures.
• Support injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes.
• Lead ACC accreditation activities and assurance reviews.
