Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current annual practising certificate.
- Postgraduate qualification; Master’s level preferred but not required.
- Senior nursing leadership experience in a health setting.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity for Māori and priority populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing leadership for WellSouth and across the network.
- Offer nursing advice to general practice teams and clinical leaders.
- Lead workforce development and programme design to fill gaps.
- Influence national conversations and mentor nurses across careers.
