Senior Network Engineer (L4) is an advanced engineering role, responsible for ensuring a managed service is provided to all clients, to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. This is done through proactively managing, overseeing, monitoring, investigating, and resolving escalated technical incidents and problems to ensure the restoration of these services to the clients.
The primary objective of this role is to proactively review all client requests or tickets and apply technical process knowledge to provide the clients with almost immediate resolution without breaching service level agreement (SLA).
This role focuses on forth line support for escalated incidents and requests with a high level of complexity. Ensures contracted Managed Services outcomes are delivered to the client.
This is a strategic role focusing across two or more technology domains such as (but not limited to) Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications and / or Collaboration.
This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.
As a Senior Network Engineer (L4), you will ensure our clients' IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by proactively managing, overseeing, and resolving escalated technical incidents. Your day will revolve around reviewing client requests or tickets and leveraging your technical knowledge to provide immediate and permanent resolutions, all while maintaining adherence to our service level agreements (SLAs).
Working across two or more technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration, you'll provide fourth-line support for complex issues that lower-level teams couldn't resolve. Your role involves investigating issues in advance, documenting your solutions, and sharing insights to empower other engineers.
You’ll play an integral role in ensuring that contracted Managed Services outcomes are delivered to clients promptly, participating in change implementation tracking, and communicating effectively with other teams and clients. As an emergency support contact, you’ll be essential for critical client and business-impacting issues.
In addition to addressing escalated incidents, you’ll contribute to, and support project work as needed, optimizing DATA storage and implementing disaster recovery functions. By continuously updating and improving our processes, you’ll help us drive automation and efficiency across our operations.
