Job summary

Find Recruitment in Wellington, New Zealand, seeks a Senior .NET Developer for an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will own the design, development and delivery of services, APIs and integrations critical to a modern core platform.

You will work in a cross-functional, Agile team, addressing complex integration challenges, building secure, scalable software and guiding best practices in CI/CD and production support across cloud and on-prem systems.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET and end-to-end solution design.
• Proven SQL skills and experience building APIs and integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
• Comfort working in cross-functional Agile teams with security focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET.
• Build APIs, backend services and integrations supporting customer and internal systems.
• Help integrate a new core platform with a wider technology ecosystem.
• Interpret business requirements and Agile stories, considering related systems.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design and engineering standards.
• Develop secure, reliable and highly available applications.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code and DevOps processes.
• Implement automated unit, integration and performance testing.
• Support non-functional testing across availability, performance and security.
• Develop monitoring, telemetry, dashboards and alerting.
