Job summary

Watercare in Central Auckland is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to deliver high-quality internal audit services, strengthen financial oversight, and support Watercare’s strategic and operational objectives.

You will evaluate controls, assess risk, and provide assurance on cost transparency in supplier charges, while leading a small team and working with stakeholders across the organisation to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in large, complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of internal audit methodologies and processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
