Job summary

NZ Police is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join the NZ Financial Intelligence Unit (NZFIU) at Police National Headquarters in Wellington. The role focuses on strategic intelligence, collaborating with the Financial Crime Prevention Network to deliver high-quality analytical products for police, government, and private sector partners.

You will mentor team members, develop expertise in money laundering and acquisitive crime, and work in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of best practice intelligence processes including the application of analytical techniques.
• Strong relationship management skills including engaging stakeholders in information sharing and collaboration.
• Experience with supporting a team in high pressure environments whilst delivering high quality outputs.
• Proven mentoring skills.
