The Hawke's Bay Regional Council is seeking a Senior Implementation Advisor to join the Implementation Team within the Policy and Regulation Group in Napier. We are looking for a SeniorImplementation Advisor to join the Implementation Team within the Policyand Regulation Group. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based inNapier.
The Senior Implementation Advisorplays a key role in providing professional advice to support the implementationof national and regional policy and regulatory requirements. Working across theorganisation and with external stakeholders, you will contribute toimplementation processes that help the Policy and Regulation Group achieve itsobjectives, while building and maintaining effective relationships that supportsuccessful outcomes.
Working alongside the ManagerImplementation, you will participate in and, at times, lead internal workinggroups and project teams, providing technical input and advice to supportefficient implementation. This includes providing advice to cross-council teamsinvolved in the implementation of the Spatial Planning Act and NaturalEnvironment Act, as well as other policy and regulatory initiatives. You willalso represent Council on national working groups and collaborate withgovernment agencies, territorial authorities, regional councils, and otherstakeholders to support the effective implementation of policy and regulatoryrequirements.
You will be an experienced policy,planning, or regulatory professional who enjoys working in complex environmentsand turning legislative and policy requirements into practical implementationsolutions. You will bring strong relationship management skills, includingproven experience in engaging in and building relationships with communitymembers, landowners and partner organisations.

The salary range for this role is between$104,635 to $123,100and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successfulcandidate.
