The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Wellington seeks a Senior Development Adviser – Health to lead complex health investments across the Pacific, providing technical advice and shaping New Zealand's international development impact.
You will collaborate with regional partners, manage health portfolios, and influence policy and funding allocations to achieve universal health coverage and sustainable outcomes. This is a collaborative corporate role in central Wellington.
Formación
- Experience working in global public health including the Pacific region.
- Experience in international development policy and programme design.
- Experience contributing to complex policy initiatives or investment planning.
Responsabilidades
- Managing a portfolio of health investments and partner contracts.
- Providing strategic and technical health development advice.
- Leading sector insights to improve impact of health investments.
- Developing health goals, priorities, and funding allocations.
- Designing and reviewing new investment concepts and business cases.
- Building relationships with regional and multilateral partners.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage New Zealand expertise for health outcomes.
