The People Place is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead dam and water infrastructure projects across New Zealand. You will guide design packages, mentor junior engineers and ensure quality before release, with extensive field involvement and client interaction.

Join a collaborative consultancy known for technical excellence and a strong pedigree in geotechnical, dam and water engineering. Travel across NZ for site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical design and analysis experience.
• CPEng or near submission.
• NZ geotech standards familiarity (NZSOLD/ANCOLD) and related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead dam and water infrastructure packages and guide design decisions.
• Mentor intermediate and graduate engineers on technical issues.
• Review design reports, specifications and construction documents.
