Job summary

NZTA | Waka Kotahi is seeking an experienced professional for the Revenue Services & Projects team in Palmerston North. The role blends finance, business operations, technology and change delivery to support revenue, payments and customer services systems.

You will work with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver complex initiatives, ensure financial controls, and provide input to future-state processes while supporting daily financial operations and reporting. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Experience in data analytics, data interrogation, and reporting
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience with financial management information systems and Excel

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and change initiatives across finance, business operations, technology and change delivery.
• Ensure financial operational requirements are considered from design to implementation and support.
• Provide BAU support for financial systems, investigate issues and support users.
• Analyse data, report on financial performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and operations to deliver solutions.
