BTW Company is seeking an experienced Environmental / Waters engineer for our Hamilton team in a Senior or Principal capacity. The role focuses on technical leadership across stormwater, three-waters, and civil projects, with flexibility in hours to match experience and availability.

You will work with local government, energy, and private development along with planners, surveyors, ecologists and iwi, applying water sensitive design and Te Mana o te Wai.

Formación

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• CPEng or working towards CPEng.
• Strong stormwater and three-waters technical capability.
• 5+ years’ experience in the New Zealand regulatory environment.
• Confident in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborative and inclusive working style.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and delivery across stormwater and three-waters projects, with potential design leadership, peer review, mentoring and client engagement.
• Lead stormwater and three-waters projects from investigation through design and delivery support.
• Design/model stormwater quality, quantity and conveyance solutions.
• Apply water sensitive design and Te Mana o te Wai in project outcomes.
• Share knowledge through mentoring, peer review and technical support.
