Job summary

Minter Ellison Rudd Watts is seeking a senior lawyer with a strong background in environmental and resource management law to join our team on a fixed term basis from October to August 2027. The role is flexible on hours and working arrangements, with in-person or remote options.

Based in Auckland or Wellington, you will work with a Tier 1 environment team, mentoring others and supporting partners through a busy period.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years PQE in environmental and resource management law.
• Some litigation experience in this field is desirable.
• Demonstrates strong written and analytical skills and works autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to partners during a busy period.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
• Work autonomously on files and collaborate effectively with others.
